Dave’s Third Paper Out in Inorganic Chemistry

A new Inorganic Chemistry article from the group sees Dave and Jona publish their third paper together, this time demonstrating that the size and properties of metal-organic nanosheets can be tuned by rational design of the precursor MOFs.

This paper also involves work from two previous undergraduate students in our group, Max Flint and Irene Dominquez Bernaldes, as well as collaborative work with the Brammer and Fischer groups.

Congratulations to everyone involved, drinks are on Dave!

Ram Joins the Group!

The Foster groups first post-doctoral researcher, Ram Prasad R R, has started his first day in the group today. His research will aim to build upon Dave and Josh’s previous work, aiming to use functional MONs for advanced catalysis purposes.

Ram joins us from St Andrews, where he worked under the supervision of
Professors Paul Wright and Matt Clarke, researching the use of metal-organic frameworks for tandem catalysis.
